I can`t understand what’s going on

I ask myself where the love has gone.

When you look at me,

Your smile doesn’t shine that bright.

When you come up to me,

It feels like there is a shield.

You turn down everything I give you;

Including my friendship.

I ask myself why it hurts so much.

The answer is a sharp gut feeling

Piercing at my stomach

Telling me what I do not want to accept:

You have gone.
