Where's the Cell Phone???

Maria didn’t have the habit of carrying a purse or bag due to the fact that she had only one leg and needed free hands to hold on to her crutches, which in the end became her second leg. However, whenever she would go to parties she had a bag in which she would simple throw over her shoulder and she could carry a few things and still be hands free.

On this day she was going to visit a good friend who would be celebrating her birthday. Maria got all dressed up, threw on her bag and waited for her husband to get ready. When they were all set and ready to go, Maria noticed that her cell phone was missing. She sweetly asked her husband to look for it.

He searched in the bedroom and nothing. He searched in the living room and nothing. He searched in the bathroom, kitchen and even in their son’s room and it was nowhere to be found.

Suddenly the idea of calling the number came to Maria’s mind and so they did exactly that. They went into the bedroom, dialed the number and they heard it ring but could not find it. They went into the living room, dialed the number and they heard it ring but could not find it there either. The same thing happened in the bathroom, kitchen and in their son’s room and it was nowhere to be found. The clock was ticking and they had to go, so they decided to forget the cell phone and head off to the party.

In the car on their way to the friend’s house, they heard the cell phone ring. How could they have forgotten to check the car? It must have fallen under a seat or one of those nooks and crannies where things always get lost cars.

All of a sudden Maria’s husband bursts out laughing and says “Maria, did you check in your bag?”

There it was, mystery solved.
