ENVY

 

Just a thought…

For some people it is very hard to applaud, recognize, praise, agree to, cheer for and wish another person a sincere congratulations. It is difficult to click on the like button or comment on a beautiful picture or an interesting post that was displayed on social media.

For some it is difficult to see the other happy and it is extremely tough to be genuinely happy for the other. One´s ego does not allow this; there is a small pinch of envy deep down inside.

For some the other person's progress and success just bothers those who do not make an effort to change, who are accommodated just wishing that those things were occurring to him or her.

For some someone else´s happiness and success only bother those who are unhappy. The difference is that there are those who keep on trying and those who don´t. Those who knock on other doors until their dreams come true and those who never even open a door. There are those who stop believing and those who fight because they believe. Yet, these people find it hard to just be happy for the one who has succeeded, even in the tiniest endeavors.

Once I read that the grass is not greener on the other side, but where you water it. Truer words have never been said. There is enough room in the world for everyone to achieve his or her goals and make dreams come true.
