Look Up

 

On a gray day the sun had decided to take a break. She walked along the sidewalk desiring an end to her pain and suffering. Cowardly, she couldn't end it herself, so hoping for an end was all that was left. However, deep down inside, what she really wanted was to live life to its fullest. Dance, laugh, succeed, fall in love, start a family, be happy and be helpful.

On this gray day the clouds decided to shed the tears she couldn't. As the rain poured, she continued walking on the sidewalk watching every step; observing her feet splatter every puddle she stepped in. At other times she would look ahead, but today all she could do was look down.

 On this gray day, the rain stopped, the sun peeked through the clouds and a rainbow appeared. She knew she was not alone, and all this would pass.
