How many times?

 

How many times does a person need to get fired to get used to it?

How come when you are called to the boss´s office you are never told the truth about why they are letting you go?

Why do they just tell you that “you don't fit the profile any longer”?

So many questions come bundled up in the turmoil of emotions. The tears don't even form because it isn´t the first, second or third time that this has happened to you. You worked so hard at being part of the group.You shared your know-how from the heart not expecting anything in return.

After being fired, it dawned on you that you were just being used by the company. They sucked out all your tricks to the trade and simply threw you in the street after the younger and new employees, who get paid way less, had acquired the tools to do what you did.

In fact, these tools were given to them by you just to make the work that needed to be done flow better. However, your ideas were sucked out of you by a bunch of vampires and your bloodless body was thrown away with a simple “you do not fit the profile any longer”.

Until when will this situation go on?
