This Monday morning I woke up
feeling under the weather. Although my whole body hurt, I blamed myself for not
being able to get up and go to work. As I roam my mind for some reasons why I
woke up feeling this way, many alternatives popped up:
·
Haven’t
been getting enough rest.
·
Haven’t
been eating properly.
·
End
of the school semester and loads to correct and grade.
·
Haven’t
been getting enough exercise.
·
Pain
in legs has increased intensely.
·
Tension
at work has risen.
·
Chaos
in the city and in the country.
·
People
have been suffering violently.
I am certain that the list is much larger
than this; however, as I list the reasons, I start to feel high anxiety. Life is hard, which is not a surprise to anyone
(at least it shouldn't be at this day and age), but couldn't it be just a
little lighter?
Nonetheless, as I sit down to have my
breakfast or try to make my body accept that breakfast is a necessary meal
despite the nausea, I look out my bedroom window ( my breakfast was in bed ) and
my eyes witness the following scenes. I am reminded to just live the moment.
This is what I saw:
