An Angel in the Bank
Mask on. In line at the bank keeping her feet on the
marked spaces in order to keep socially distant. Mind wandering in what the
future will bring. So many issues had to be resolved. I am the owner to an
institution that trains people to care for the elderly. Startled she looked at
the elegantly dressed woman in her 60s. Pardon me? Were you speaking to me?
Yes, I said that I train people to care for the elderly. You do. That´s astonishing.
(Astonishing because that was what the young girls was thinking about as she
waited her turn to move along the line.) Do you have a business card? I just teach
people. I do not own an agency. I understand that, but you can recommend someone,
can´t you? Yes, for sure. But I do not have any cards on me. You know what, check my website, Doracare
and send me a message. My name is Regina. Regina, the queen, the young girl
thought. She was wondering how on earth that woman had read her mind. Do you
recommend people according to their neighborhood? Certainly. It is the best
thing nowadays with the covid-19 virus lurking around. If some one lives closer
to the elder, it is the best deal.
The line moved along and as she walked into the agency;
the young girl let out a cry lifting a heavy load off her shoulders. God is
good. Always. Get in touch when you need the helper. I will. Thank you!
With that, each one when on with their errands.
